The moss looks like an umbrella moss, Hypnodendron sp. or possibly Hypopterygium sp. Both genera occur in asia, so location would be correct. I think you might have a difficult time finding some though. I agree, that it is a beautiful moss.

finding some...yes. As for location of moss you arecompletely right - it is based from southeast asia. The frog on the moss is based in that region only - I believe borneo?

Your answer has put me a huge step on this moss.

If i manage to get some- now that's the real mission right there

unfortunately no. I've come across a few leads in south and east asia but it will have to come in with an import with other things which i'm not willing to do right now unless there's other things i want (nepenthes species, bucephalandras, etc) that i'll trouble getting the certificates and such for.

Maybe in a month or two but i'm sure there are some organizations or plant nurseries that may have a specimen or two in the U.S.
