Ok the Java Moss has been in my tankbut I'm not so sure it is doing all that well.

I sectioned off a portion of the tank where I sprayed ontop of the moss with Superthrive. This plant vitamin and hormone solution work miracles on my bonsai and its organic from what it reads, so I figured its worth a shot. And maybe, just maybe it might make the moss turn terrestrial faster.

We shall see

How moist is your substrate, and how high is your light?

Java moss loves to have WET substrate to start out on and loves bright light. If you have those two things, you could have it growing in Pepsi, and it would cover everything.

I first soaked the soil before putting the moss in and now I mist it heavily twice a day. When I bought it though it wasn't all that green. Apparently the mom-n-pop fish shop I bought it from just got it in the mail wrapped in newspaper..

But the soil I have in my tank is Jungle Mix. Do you think that will be ok for the moss?
