Male pumilio are very territorial. I actually did a study on them years ago when I was in college. "The tenacity and territoriality of the male Dendrobates pumilio" The space needed to house the two species in the pic should be decent so that their paths do not cross. Usually they inhabit different parts of the tank, but when they do cross paths look out. Both would require ample space to retreat.
