Hi guys,

Was wondering if you think Minimealworms would be a good staple food for d. azureus frogs? I;m from the philippines and fruitflies and springtails are simply out of the question. They can't breed in our regular room temperatures of 28-32 degrees celcius. Cooling the viv is one thing but to spend on cooling for FFs and feeds would be simply out of the question for me.

I am trying my luck in getting a stable termite culture and would like to get other possible alternatives. I was disadvised in using waxworms as a staple as they would be too fatty.

TIA

Being in the philipines you shouldnt have to much of a hard time finding termites. I would try to get them before the mealworms. Just gather on a regular basis until you learn how to culture them. I plan on making a trip to the philipines to visit my friend that lives there. He lives right on a coconut plantation. If you got any tips for getting around pm me.
