cybidiums usually like cooler temps than our tanks provide. How ever, plourothalids, restripeias, oncidiums, some dendros, medlocar, and a couple dozen others are out threr. I sell about 15 diff types rightnow
Agreed. Even mini cymbidiums would get too large for pretty much every viv...and a lack of drop in temperatures would prevent any blooming in a lot of species. I know at least the Chinese species of mini cymbidiums need to have a really deep substrate...more than you could offer in a viv and still have any room for it above the soil level.
