It definitely looks Amelanistic. A melonistic dart with natural dark coloring would be almost jet black.

It's interesting to me that melanism/amelanism seem to be way more prevalent in thumbnails than in other species.

The frogs pics a few posts up from this are the first one from a month ago. It looks pretty much the same just a little bigger.

If I look closely at the tads you can see the ones that are going to not have any color as soon as the stripes and spots start to show through a little bit.
