Just a couple pics from feeding time today.

I don't see too many up close photos of these guys, so I figured I'd post what I have. :) Funky little things.

Edit: I believe they are Porcellio scaber, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. (They were sold to us awhile back as P. scaber)

Nice shots! Looks like a Porcellio Scaber to me. Brother to the Giant Oranges as they are also Porcellio Scaber.

Wow! Those are incredible shots! More please if it is not too much trouble. Crustacians are just very very interesting to me.

What is the species in the photos? And what are they chowing on? :D

Thanks!

^^ The species is almost certainly Porcellio Scaber. They are eating Repashy BugBurger which is the only food source we've been offering since it came out a couple months back. They've been reproducing like crazy so far. :)

I'll try to work on some more shots tomorrow.

WOW, Im excited to know the name of this. I actually found one on my bathroom wall a few weeks ago. Im the only person I know who runs and gets a culture cup when they see a bug in the bathroom. Lo and behold I have a nice culture of these. And yes, they are large!
