Obvious statement of the month: PDFs are really, really neat.

As an experiment, I decided to stop misting my breeding pair of D. azureus for about two months. The humidity was kept high, as evinced by the condensation on the sides of the tank. As expected, the male stopped calling and the pair didn't lay any new eggs.

Then, a few days ago, I re-started daily misting. Almost immediately, the male began calling and, two days later, eggs.

I may never cease to be amazed.

Hi John,
It is a good habit to get into anyways. Breeding frogs need a break. See the good reasons for bad eggs post. Lots of good stuff.
