Thanks everyone! That second pic actually reminds me of a whale more than anything, just the way the neck looks in it.

These were taken with a Canon PowerShot SX110 IS on the macro setting.

superb shots.

very clean nails.

you should be a frog hand model.

do you have these in hi res?
...but frogs don't have nails

...oh, ME :D I got ya! Yeah, I cleaned up real good because I knew I was going to be handling the little buggers. Well, the NOT so little buggers anymore! It's amazing how big they've gotten and how their patterns have developed. Here are some shots when I got them about a year ago (lower quality):

Higher res options to all my pics are on my Flickr page - you can click any of the "misteja7" links above to get there, then click "misteja7's photostream" to page through the pics.

So true!

I just had a friend ask for advice on a new camera, and I suggested the latest version - the SX130. Both are like a cross between a POS & SLR. The new one has 12x optical zoom, manual settings, stablization, macro - a little bigger than a typical POS, but still fits into a pocket. At $180, it's a great choice (assuming it's as good as the SX110 that I have, I haven't played with it directly).
