How many leucomelas would you guys recommend for a 29 gallon? I was thinking 3 or 4 but I certainly don't want to overstock them.

That sounds good to me if we are talking about a horizontal configuration. As I recall, I had my 4 in a 29 horizontal for a long time.

Agree. A horizontal 29 is a nice setup for leucs. I've always kept 3, but a fourth would be fine (5 is probably a bad idea). Visual breaks, safe spaces, and high spots for calling are key.

Just wanted to chime in and say that if you do more than a pair you should still keep an eye out for aggression/intimidation. I have experienced this with luecs a couple of times. I know they have a reputation for being good group frogs, but you should still keep a watchful eye on them in a group setting. Great frogs, they were my first darts!
