Does anyone know how old leucs are when they start calling. I have 4 from black jungle that are only a few months old, but I am pretty sure I heard a call on Wednesday night. Could they be calling already? Also, when will I be able to see the rounded toe-pads?

Thanks a bunch,
Jess

Mine started calling around 6-8 months. If you want to try and induce them to call, you can play a recording of a calling male Leuc near the tank, and most of the times, adult males in the tank will try to "out call" the recording. You can find a copy of the recording at TandCterrariums.com or here: http://www.poison-frogs.nl/e020303.html look for Leucomelas.

Does anyone know if the female leucs call? I've had my for almost 8-9 months and not heard them call.... well I thought I did awhile ago like once or twice, but I'd lost one of them (swear it was the smallest). I'm wondering if I'm stuck with 3 female leucs and 3 male tincs *sigh*
