I was putting together another tank and knew I wasn't going to use the whole brick of coco husk. I meant to drain the water out that night, but forgot about it and just remembered tonight. There was a rotten egg smell to the bucket but has aired out now. Should I throw this away or is it still usable?

That would be the smell of rot and decomposition. When you wet it again, it will probably smell again. Also, the rot and decomposition has probably broken it down some so that it will not last nearly as long. That's my take on it anyway. Add to that that it is fairly inexpensive and it just makes sense to start over. If nothing else, I would hate to have that smell in my frog room until it finally clears up.
