Here is where I'm at so far. Design is done. Above the land will be cork tile siliconed to the wall for air plants with no roots. Below will be subsrate. Above the pile of rock will be a bulkhead to dump water back in. All of the white eggcrate will be covered with black gs.
The filter/pump is a cascade 500 canister filter that has flow control valves so I can adjust the water features flow.

What do you guys think so far?

Terrestrial life will be a pair of green anoles.

Going to make the waterfall more of a drip wall. Decided to do the plumbing without cutting the tank will use the lid to cut that way I can route wires out that way as well.

Dry fit all the hard plumbing for the intake and return. Time for a test run to ensure it will function properly

Pump wasn't strong enough for all the piping, had to get a small internal pump to filter and circulate the water. Weed barrier attached and false bottom is siliconed in. Letting it dry then time for the background panels to be installed

Note to self, spread out the silicone and ensure fully pressure everywhere for maximum press down. It's on and solid and not going anywhere but the backside shows its a little loose at the bottom half of the sheets. Should be water tight though and don't think it will cause any issues.

Ready for some foam in a few hours once the silicone finishes curing for better grib in the glass. Going from bottom up to the top I will have a rock wall on the 2 sides that are open glass
