hi, I ordered some moss slurry from Neherp and I’m wondering if I’m doing it right. I took clumps of the mix and tried to spread it out on the branches in the terrarium. It still looks too thick and clumpy. Will this take hold and grow out or do l need to redo it somehow. How have others applied this slurry successfully? Do and redo seem to be my method of operation with thi enclosure so far. Thanks, Lyle

I used it in my vivarium. Follow the instructions about keeping it damp for the amount of time they reccomend. It took a long time to take in my viv but in the areas it was kept damp grew in nicely. It does go on thick and look like your picture.

How would you say that moss slurry worked out for you? I’m looking at different brands and methods, any input?

This thread is pretty dang old. The folks that were in this thread may or may not still be active, but…

For what it’s worth. I’ve experimented with GBT’s Dusk Moss mix. It has to stay very very moist and needs a bunch of light for it to take off. It’s worked best for me when applied to tree fern fiber, but I’ve also had luck applying it to cork too.

Thank you, appreciate it.
