How many springtails?

I am getting ready to set up some new springtail cultures, and I was wondering how many springtails should go in a new culture to get it going? Thanks

Great, thanks. I just didn't know if they each needed different set up. Same, and simple...works for me!

how often does everyone start new cultures of springtails? I just started 4 more today, but one of the "Mother" cultures was started 3/16/04 and still popping like crazy!
