Hi All,

I glued some cork in place on my background yesterday and I am wondering if I can foam the gaps in right away or should I wait until the smell of the silicone is gone?

The foam will expand as it cures, so if your silicone is not fully set, it will push the cork bark away. Silicone takes 24 hours to considered mostly cured. It will continue to gain strength for another 24 hours. You need to wait at least 24 hours and waiting a full 48 would be safest.

Will wait until Wednesday just to play things safe then. :)

Thanks Pum!
