How long does it take...

how long does it take for broms to properly mount themselves on to something? I currently am using toothpicks to support them to the cocos panels. Just wondering when I should be able to remove them. Thanks

My broms send out aerial roots in about a week, and I feel confident removing any support at a month-month and a half.
