I'm guessing that this has been covered in the past, but I couldn't find anything during my searches.

Is there an estimated time that normally developing tadpoles remain tadpoles? I'm just curious about how long the whole process takes from transport to OOW...any info would be great! I currently have multiple groups of anthonyi tads in water, but none have begun to morph yet.

Take my advice with a grain of salt but i would say 3-6months total. I have a variabilis tad and a blue Azureus tad that i bout from Allen hunter about a month or 2 ago and they still havent popped legs and they were 6-8week old tads then. They are growing but no legs yet. I have other tads ive bought that were close to morphing out that still havent but its coming fast. I would say 3-6 months total.

Cool. I had 3 months in my head, but I wasn't sure. Gives my new tank plenty of time to grow :)
