I was planning on using ABG but I've heard some back and forth on it. Considering the price, if there's any doubt about it's safety I'd rather just concoct my own mix. Any opinions? I'm thinking a mix of organic soil, coconut husk and chunks, some leaf litter mixed through, a bit of sphagnum moss, and some random rocks and or gravel for drainage. As per the advice of a friend in the hobby possibly some chopped up banana peel for something to be decomposing of the bat. This is just an idea and I am new to all this. Opinions and personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

Side question thats unrelated: Whats with the names the 0.0.0 as peoples stamp? I'm assuming its dictating something about their collection but know know how so. Thanks again.

Thanks frogmanchu. I've been wondering about the numbers, now I don't have to do that anymore. Soon to be D. Leuc 0.0.4

I'll definitely have to try the romaine. Iceberg seems like it'd be as useless as it is in every other regard. lol. Maybe not, but thats what I think of when I think of iceberg. Thank you for the advice.
