I've heard about frogs being prone to impaction. I keep a colony of hissing roaches for my tarantulas. Tarantulas are my biggest hobby and I've recently started with frogs. The roach nymphs are a little more soft bodied than adults. They get harder and harder with each molt. 1st and 2nd instar nymphs are nicely sized for big frogs. Is this acceptable or will it cause me problems. Mind you I don't want to use this as my staple but rather a treat and a free meal. I also keep B craniifer (death's head) and B fusca (dwarf cave roach) hybrids they are much much more soft bodied and would probably be a better choice, but my colony hasn't taken off enough to start feeding them out yet.

The only problem I've had with feeding roaches, is that my horned frog didn't like the spiny legs, and my leopard geckos simply won't bother with them.
