Help with Feeding my Lamasis

863 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Pumilo
I just got a group of three Orange Lamasis 3 days ago and i feed them maybe 6 flies a day but when i feed them the frogs don't generally go after them. How do i know the frogs are actually eating?

they might not have settled in yet since it's only been three days, lamasi are also fairly shy and might be waiting for you to leave to start eating. i'd also be feeding a little more than 6 flies.... and make sure you're dusting w/ vitamins.

poop...something must go in, in order for something to come out. :D

6 flies a day, even 6 flies each, they are going to starve to death.
Oh, also... you're feeding melanogaster correct? They're the better choice for thumbs, especially young ones.

Definitely. If they are particularly young, you may need to pick up some springtails for them. Most breeders won't release a frog while still that small, though.
