Hi Louis,

That Neo. 'Fireball' is propably one of the most common bromeliad cultivars
around. It is a try epiphyte and therefore it does not depend on making
roots. I keep them in a nearly empty pot or hanging basket, just stuffed
with a little coco-fibre so it does not flip out of it.
You may also cultivate it mounted on a piece of wood and it grows brilliant
even without having any roots, allthough it tends to fall apart when it becomes a biger clump.
Removing the offshots often results in new ones, so you might be able to get
a lot of new plants from just one.
And........the more sun it gets, the more red it will be.
