Hey, am I doing something wrong? Is this orchid not getting enough light? Its an Epidendrum porpax

The bottom couple of leaves look much darker than you can see in the picture and almost purplish

It looks fine. Its rooting and the growth looks nice and turgid. The purple is from Anthocyanosis. Just a response to high light, no big deal

Seems to look ok so far. I see a few healthy looking roots... How long has it been in there?

I'd say that's just how most Epidendrums look. They are scraggly little things, in my experience. Although I've never had one in a terrarium, all mine have been in the greenhouse.

I dont usually like to introduce cuttings that small either. A larger piece will more often than not establish more quickly. That orchid will fill out nicely given a chance and make a cool mat on the bacground. I like SCHLECHTERIANUM more for a cool mat forming species though
