I've had these 3 terribilis for over a month now. I haven't noticed any breeding activity. They are all over an inch long but still have a little black on their undersides. I was wondering if anybody could give me any clues to the sexes from the picture. Do they have to be completely solid green before they breed?

First thing first you sex by body on terribilis. Clean out the water dish and add water. Then mist the crap out of them. And play their call from a cd or computer until something calls. Also a side note. Males may have a black stripe under the chin it's from the vocal sac.

Males usually call from 10- 14 mo old....and IMO females rarely [not never but] breed before 18 mo successfully.

Yours may be to young, no?

Can't sex by body type. It should have read.

As adults they can easily be sexed by size but not until maturity at 20-24 months. Otherwise, calling is your best bet
