I obtained a group of 5 last Oct. and for the last 2-3 weeks have heard lots of calling. Hopefully there is a female in this group-i have heard that they produce heavy on the males! Can anyone with experience with these guys tell me where they like to lay their eggs. Terrarium has 2 medium size broms and some low growing plants. I have plenty of film canisters/coconut huts/petri dishes. Thanks for your input!

These frogs are not picky at all, once they start breeding they are hard to stop. I rarely pull any tads anymore unless I get requests for them. I have a 2.1 trio in a tank and most of the clutches are laid on the Scindapsus pictus plant in the tank, out on the leaves. They have also laid in the hut once. There are no film cans in the tank. The male will guard the eggs and transport them into the water bowl. The easiest way is just wait and collect the tads. If you don't do anything you'll still get a couple to morph out in the tank.

Good luck
Eric
