the 90k you are reading is actually the color rendering index. That just means on a scale of 0-100, the bulb is 90% true to showing the colors of things as they actually are under direct daylight. 90 is pretty good actually. It looks to me that the bulb doesn't have the color temperature listed, but to me it looks like it is somewhere between 6500 and 8000k. You should be alright with that bulb, but if you find any that say "natural daylight" that would be better.
Wait until the pups on the cryptanthis are at least 1/3-1/2 the size of the mother plant before removing.
