I took a 10 gallon tank and got some plants and put them in it.
I took some chicken wire and made a false bottom for drainage.
I have a plant and aquarium bulb on it and a makeshift foil hood for now until I get my fixture up and going. Probably gonna put another grow bulb on it soon.
The fixture will have two flouresant bulbs and two cfls when I get it working.
I placed some water in the bottom that will evaporate and raise the humidity.
I mist them daily a couple times.
Currently I have a pothos, philodendron, some star plants and 2 bromeliads and an arrowhead plant.
Am I heading in the right direction with this?
Also are those pink star pups ready to be seperated? I think propagated is the term
Any tips on how to make the tank better? I thought about covering all the sides with white paper to keep the light in...
Thanks for the help...here is a few pics
