How much surface area will one can of Great Stuff cover, say 1-2 inches thick? I know it will depend on the size of the can, but I don't know what sizes there are.

i used 2 larger cans on a 30 gallon covering back and 2 sides. the dimensions are 36x12.5x 18

if you push down the button on the can very lightly, you can make the foam come out very thin and cover less space (with much more control), or you can push down the bottom full-force and have it come out like a rocket, which fills it with much more air, and it cures MUCH larger and with much less control of the eventual shape. have fun
