Hi I am helping with a setup and was asked if a garter snake could be compatible with a gray tree frog. It is a pretty roomy viv, but it does not seem to me like a real good idea. What do you think?

This snake is too small to eat this frog. The snake could go into its own enclosure as it starts to grow larger.

I also think this is not such a good idea. Whenever I have handled garter snakes they have been apt to bite readily. I would worry about the frog getting a wound from the snake.
