that just the way they breath they will not call until close to a year old. good job on the new frogs
yeah, i haven't had time to watch too much hunting. the flies scattered really quickly when i tossed them in the tank, and i don't know how many the frogs actulaly got. only saw them eat a few...verbal said:Congrats on the new froglets. I got my two azureus from Black Jungle as well, and I'm very pleased.
The throat vibration is fun to watch, but even better is the toe-bouncing that they'll do when hunting flies. Watch the toes on their back legs pump up and down!
yeah, i don't want to have fruit in there for the flies forever, i just want to make sure they're getting enough food for the next week while they learn the lay of the land, so to speak.joshua_delancey69 said:the bananna will work to attract flies but will get messy if you didnt place it in a lid on plastic of some sorts. It is also good for the frogs to hunt the flies it gives them exersise. PUMPS them UP
yipes. that's a lot of frogs.joshua_delancey69 said:good deal and good luck... I started with 4 g/b auratus and now I have close to 60 frogs. I have just started getting more breeding pairs that gets to be even more fun in the long run
