Well after 3 weeks Quarnteen I finally decided to put one of the basti's I thought was female with the male I already had......He has been calling the past couple of days on a regular basis......I put the one I thought was female they ran behind the cork bark and he started calling.........hopefully this is not a territoral fight and he finally found a lady to smooth operate.

I think the male frog understands that he is Tennessee now and must answer to a higher standard in entertaining the ladies. Does he call in a distinct southern drawl?

And by the way, thanks for the petri dishes, it was very generous of you.

he has gotten louder and has been calling about every 10-15 mins since i put the other frog in the tank.....the draw is definately southern.......I have grouped the other frogs as well 3 orange 4 red 2 red, and 2 red.....I have 1 orange callilng and 2 red calling in diffrent tanks.....well hope i have confused everyone as much as i am now.....
