I need ideas on species that are capable of living inside a 40g palduarium. I was thinking of tricolors. Good choice?

I think a large colony of vents would be amazing. They do great in groups and the water wouldn't be an issue. Even if you let them raise their young, you would be pulling more froglets out of that tank than you would know what to do with!
Tricolors have a much better call and are more bold then vents... but who's to say you couldn't mix? They can't breed, so no hybrids and they also occupy different areas (generally, as tricolors will do some climbing, and vents will go on the ground sometimes lol). Both are cool, and both would probably do very well in a group tank with a water feature.

That would be amazing! Another project I may have to put on the list :p

can we get a pick of the bottom half?
I dont have a digi cam. But its basically planted with Anubis, Amazon sword (which should flower out of the water soon), Alt. Reineckii and Glossosstigma for floor cover. Plus various rocks and driftwood scattered.

For the top ill be using great stuff for the backdrop, and this huge piece of ghostwood. Ill connect a pump from the water onto the ghostwood for a waterfall.

Does anyone know what and where to get this tube multiplier from?

Already discussed somewhere ill look for it, but someone said its huge. Alot bulkier then it looks in the pics.
Home Depot: $12.95 in the inground sprinkler system section. It is larger then it appears in the picture, and I would probably only use it in a larger tank with some depth to it.
Thanks. I dont think ill be using that. You got any ideas on how to seperate one airline tubing into two.

It isn't too large for a 40 gallon, but if you are only splitting into 2 you might not need it. Don't they sell splitters in aquarium stores, maybe called "T" connector or something?
I thought i saw something like that at the store but i didnt know what it was called.

go down the Aquarium shop, youll even be able to get little taps to adjust the channels seperately.
Alright im done the foaming. Hopefully ill be able to test the water feature tomorrow.

One thing i noticed with the sprayable foam, is not to let it sit for more than 30 seconds un-attended once used. The foam will harden inside the can and nozzle, and would be useless. So i blew 10 bucks for only a foot of foamed backdrop.

You can reuse the foam! When it hardens in the tube, you just cut off an inch and its fine.

splitter

I know that pro-products carries all kinds of line splitters that they use with their misting systems. I have a bunch of t and l shapes ones.

Trust me the thing was done. I dont know if it was a dud or the brand, but i even completely took off the nozzle and sprayed. Nothing happened. I wont be using Mono brand foam anymore.
