Where is a good place to get those ventilated lids? I searched the net, but couldn't find any? Cleaning is for the birds, i want to do disposible from here on out, but can't find the lids.

I really hate disposable. Those containers are made out of oil.

But I'm surrendering. I make about 40 cultures a week and I am so [email protected] tired of washing them.

I'll be expirementing with a different type of container a friend told me about.

Anyone know where to get foam plugs in bulk (don't say EDs - I'm looking for where they get them!)?

I think quality captives also sells the vented lids. Don't you have to buy 250 at a time from superior?
Foam Plugs

Anyone know where to buy the Foam Plugs in bulk? I'd rather get to the source rather than one of the retail places.

Instead of foam, why don't use fabric materials? Experiment with the ones that don't let the larvas out, but enough vent. to keep a large number of flies alive.

Because I'm going to use a cup that has a slurpee style dome on the top - perfect for a foam plug.

Just go to a fabric store and buy a peice of foam to cut up, works just as well...
