Found these in one of my springtail cultures. Very small and fragile (they tear apart easily when trying to move them with a toothpick).
They don't look like they may be harmful but not sure what they are. Any ideas? Thx!
Searching 'white worms' here will find hundreds of posts, importantly containing diagnostic hints -- size, appearance, behavior -- that you may be able to see in your worms but that we can't see in a photo.
Thanks for the replies!
I've been researching through previous threads and on the Net and not sure yet what they might be but they look like a lot of pics of nematodes but these seem to have a pinkish hue on part their body and kind of a transparent and or yellowish hue on the rest of it.

Took more photos and watched a couple of them awhile. Didn't see them eating any springtails (they have really small mouths). It looked liked they were eating little pieces of dirt but couldn't tell for sure. Definitely leaving slime wherever they go.
Those are grindal worms, they can be cultured as live food for fish. I've seen them accumulate in mass in a long term spring tail culture that I used outside soil in.
