how do u guys fish out all the dead flies in your water features?
do you just keep changing water to do this?
I have quite a few of them in there and want to try and get them out as easily as possible with the least amount of disruption in the tank...

I just leave them be. Alot of times my frogs will go to the waters edge and snap them off of the surface. Those that die are left in the water and eventually become part of the nitrogen cycle.

I had an idea a while back for this. If the tank doesn't have breeding going on, say you ended up with an extra male or female of an aggressive species, and the water area was deep enough, put a beta-fish in there...they absolutly love fruit flys, large or small.
