here is a short video of my first ever tad enjoy!

Since I had a bunch of discus (fresh water fish)can i feed the tad with the nutafin max discus granules ? it contains 20% earthworm+7%garlic

Since discus need a high animal protein diet i think it could be fine for tad am i wrong ?
I have the tetra min pro tropical crisps and the tetra color tropical granules
could this be a better choice ?
i live in canada is there someone that sells tad bite over here ?
thank you !

High quality fish flakes also work just be carefull not to overfeed.
If tried flakes, saltwater/freshwater sinking pellets tad bites, and all work. I usually have a few to switch off. Ex spirilina flakes, salmon flakes.

Yes its variabilis i have almost 4 more free swimming n 4-5 clutch in the tank and they are making more right now in that sex party mansion :p
Can some one tell me why, that even with that much film can(16), they always get 5-6 in the same one n lay me 3-4 clutch in a single one?
they use all of them or almost all of them but I only saw a pair alone in them to breed once or twice. the rest of the time they are always at least 3 at a time and they are not sleeping or chilling out since the males are calling n females are following them in there.
the males are never together they have territories and breed in they own territories and females are all around going from one to the other's male territories i saw one small female fight over a fly but as soon it was eaten by another one watching the fight stopped...LOL

here a little video of the tank

I hate you...OOPS, I mean.... I LOVE YOUR VIV! LOL! It is strictly competition to procreate that draws them in as a breeding huddle. No female wants her eggs to be ignored, and no male wants to miss his chance.

If the water looks foul or smells then thats too much food, bit if the tads are eating everything and the water looks clean in terms of not bubbly at the surface and too hazy ( not due to the tanins) then you should be doing everything fine.

Also are you triyng to raise the tadpoles in the petri dish?

Heres what I do,
Eggs in petridish with thin layer of water with blackwater or a piece of leaf to add tannins
Once the tads breaks away from the membrane then I turkey baster each tad into a Fruit fly container cup with Ro water/ with blackwater/almont leaf/ java moss
Then i feed every 4 days as long as they finish the food from the last feeding

When the tad is just hatched the less water the better(1" should be fine). Once the tad is growing a bit, you can add another 1" of water to aide in stability. Make sure the water you add is of the same temp and parameters. I use oak leaves to add tannins. Good luck with the tads!
