If you were struggling to find a cover or lid for your tank, i recommend buidling a living hinge. IMO, its cheaper than most lids you find in any store.
I went to my local glass shop, explain what i wanted done and charge me ten bucks. I have a custom 58 gallon tank with dimensions 35 1/4th horizontal and 17 and 1/8th vertical. I ask them to cut it about halfway so i can have a lid to open and close. I went to home depot, bought 100% ge silicone II clear. There are also lots of tutorials which will help you explain furthermore. Overall im happy with this lid.
