On what are you basing the non-toxic claim?

If it truly ISN'T toxic I GOTTA have me one of those when I get a huge tank. :p How much did that cost?

I aked why he made the claim when it contains at least one glycoside, and is noted for high levels of flouride..... both of which are potentially toxic...

I know the berry is considered non-toxic but I've not read anything about the rest of the plant being non-toxic. I do like my fukien tea though. It's a great little bonsai.

That is why I was confused.. I have seen pomegranate bonsai, as well as number of other fruit trees like crabapple bonsai so I wasn't sure if the fruit was the claim... as Malus species have foliage that can be toxic..
