Well I don't know if this is news or common knowledge, but my female azureus currently has a tadpole on her back. I was under the impression that all the tinctorius-group frogs had male-only tadpole transport. Has anyone else observed this before?

I have never seen it, but I have a newly hatched leuc tad I'm trying to care for. Where are you at in NC? I'm in Canton, which is 20 miles west of Asheville.

It is definetly the female. It is much larger and fatter than the male, and the toe pads are nonexistent, whereas they are obviously larger and white on the male.
