Is there a rule of thumb on how much to feed thumbnail frogs? For the bigger dendrobate frogs i could dump about 100 ff in at a time and it would be ok. If anything i would just skip a day and let them feed off the remaining ff. Anyone know how much should be fed to thumbnails?

Well, all my thumbnails are in vert. 10gals. So probably put between 50-75 for a pair of frogs per day. This is usually too much, but the flies just climb to the top and when the frogs are hungry, they just climb up and pick em off. With juvies there should always be food in the tank, I even do this with all my adults thumbs. Because the flies climb to the top, they don't really stress the frogs. Hope this helps

I just feed them as much as I can without having too many fruit flies crawling around. If I feed them too much, they won't eat any of the dusted flies and not getting alll the nutrition that they can get. I don't mind having extra flies around for a day or so, but not on a continual basis.
