Starting to gather supplies for a 29g horizontal viv. Ultimately hope to host a trio or better of leucs. Have a new clean tank and have since built a basic stand. Will be using PC lighting (extra fixture from my reef tank addiction). Other supplies are hoped to be purchased at a local reptile / exotic "expo" held later this month.
Going to use leca vs false bottom. Came across this product online priced pretty good and wanted to know if anybody had experience with it. It is hydroton, bag is labeled or branded as "Easy Green".
I don't want to post a link b/c I don't know if it's forum "legal" and I don't want to offend any of the sponsors either.
Thanks in advance

If you have hydroponics stores in your area, they often carry the stuff in large bags for not a lot of money (might as well get a bunch. This will no way be your only tank, lol).

LECA; light expanded clay aggregate. Comes in different names.

Desc from website:
"clay aggregate manufactured exclusively at high-temperature kilns in Germany and is best suited for growing larger plants, like tomatoes, peppers, and banana trees. It holds water extremely well and transmits it effectively to the plant roots. The pellets are uniform in size and have an attractive, natural appearance. Hydroton is a chemically inert medium with a neutral pH, and is reusable, clean and odorless."
It's like $8 + shipping for 10 liters which should be enough for a base in the 29g
