I have hatched 3 or 4 galacs and they all had external gills. Is it to hot or what could be causing this problem. This is real frustrating. because every clutch is ten eggs, 4 develope, 1 hatches and has the gills everytime.

Just keep the water level low and the water clean until the external gills are gone. They'll do fine

I agree with frog lady you just have to keep the water very very clean because if there is an amonia build up the blood vessles in the gills can burst and there for the frog will not take in oxygen.
