Hello

Has anyone ever had european tree frogs?

I'm especially interested in:
hyla savignyi
hyla meridionalis
hyla arborea
(all are within the "common european tree frog" species complex).

any information regarding general care, feeding, male/female agression, or anything else would be greatlly appreciated.

thanks

I was too young to even know what a terrarium is back then, but as a kid I used to collect Hyla arborea from my back yard after raining.
I was keeping them for a few days to observe them - I thought they were pretty and I still do- and then set them free.
So the only part I can help is food. They can eat really large prey. I still remember me catching and offering them big fat flies almost 1cm long, and they were grabbing them with their jaws.
Poor little froggies sorry for the stress, I didn't know any better those days.
