Here are some pictures (yeah, I know they aren't the best lol) of an Episcia "silver skies" that has just bloomed in one of my tanks. I watched it slowly open over the course of the day, very cool.

Is that one I gave you? Looks great! It's always nice to see them bloom. One of the few plants that I have gotten to bloom in terraria.

I just recieved a piece of a plant that looks like this from Sean Stewart in a frog shipment. I threw it in one of my new tanks and it is doing great. I hope it blooms. Very nice looking plant.

Yup Justin, this is the one and the same plant. It seems to be doing great, and there are two other plant already growing off of it! Thanks again for the plants. I am going to probably get some more of these in the near future, in hopes that other varieties will do just as well or better then this one.

How tall dem a grow?

Well, mine is about 2 inches off the terrarium floor... so not very tall. Its leaves go out like an african violet, so it is a wide plant. It sends little runners off, and this is where the new plants are growing out of.

Definately a squat plant. Doesn't grow high at all- maybe a few inches if your lucky. It looks nice as a groundcover. Glad it's doing well for you Beetle.

The ultimate height of this plant is greatly influenced by the amount of light it receives. In low light this plant will grow straight up, I have some in a 20 high that is pushing the top. In high light this plant grows more compact and lower.
It is a great plant and there are hundreds of varieties all from the same species. It has be hybridized for a 100 years. It's common name is Flame Violet
