i think i remember someone posting that elephant ear leaves make good leaf litter, has anyone tried this? will it rot and get nasty or last? i've got an elephant ear plant in my backyard with some ginormous leaves (some about 2 feet long) that i think would look awesome in a tank.

First, I must note that it is awesome to see more Jersey frogger's represent!

I have never used them before but would guess that they wouldn't be good to use unless the leaves were dried out. Do not place the leaves in the terrarium when they are green as they will most likely rot. Stick with some oak and maple leaves.
