·Hi All,
In the past 2 days I have noticed my pair of imitators have been busy.I watched them thursday night both in a brom axil and he was convincing her to feed a tiny tad in the axil.
I came home from work yesterday and checked in on them and saw that my male had another tad on his back.I went to town to buy some shelves and get some glass cut and came home and the tad had been deposited. I don't have any pums so I am going to watch them take care of the tads until they morph out.I have had them do it with one tad but never two.It will be interesting to watch. If I see that one isn't getting the attention it should I will take it out.I will keep y'all posted on what's going on. Yeah, I know I could take them out and get more eggs and tads from them but this is one of the reason I keep imitators is to watch their parental behavior. The males calling and both or their activity increases alot when they take care of tads in this way.
Has anyone else had their imitators take care of multiple tads until they morphed out?
Take Care,
Mark W.
