I don't know what type of hardware stores you have in Canada. But Home Depot and Lowes sells them. Also some building material stores have them, they are usually cheaper there. At least here in the US.

It's called eggcrate at home depot. It's in the lighting section and comes in 2' x 4' pieces for around $6.
