In Marc Staniszewski's excellent book on Mantellas, he mentions Drosophila trinitatus, and mentions that they are an excellent source of calcium, but need to be cultured properly to be of benefit.
Anyone out there know anything more about these?

The BDG.org (British Dendrobatid Group) used to have a caresheet on them, but that sites been gone for awhile.

Its one of the many species that have been cultured over in the UK (at least in the past - and since Marc is from the UK...) that are not present in the hobby over here, I'm not sure if they are present in labs to any degree (are they under USDA regulation?).

Even if they are not that great because of one reason or another, some sort of response would be wonderful...
I didn't read every page of the link MJ gave, but didn't see these menioned anywhere...I did see a frog mentioned that had the same species name....(but I do appreciate the response)
