I'm going to be drilling some tanks for a misting system, and I need to find out the exact diameter of the circular front of the red ecologic/saurian misting head. I just want to insert the tip of the head into the tank, with no extension. The tank glass is 1/8," so according to ecologic's site, it should work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is the site and a picture.

Next question: will the 10mm bit fit into a regular dewalt?

depends if its a 3/8" chuck or a 1/2". If its a 3/8" (which is most common) I think that you will be just a little bit too large after looking at my ruler. Never been a better time to buy a drill with a 1/2" chuck

fwiw, 1/2" is all I buy because typically they're more powerful and useful.

The bit fits in my drill stand which has a 3/8" chuck so you are fine.
The threads fit throught the hole. Works nice because this just happens to be the same size hole for the bulkhead of the rotating nozzle too. :)
