Here's a pic of one of my male ventrimaculatis froggies. He's the smallest of the four, and he just recently started calling, but this pic shows a little of his personality. These are really a great frog to work with, and much more bold than I would have thought from the descriptions I have read elsewhere. Maybe I just got lucky with the individuals I have.

Nice vent Homer,
I have two of them and hope that they are a pair. I think I heard calling last week, but I couldn't see it to confirm. My suspected male was out last night and I think that I got a decent picture of him. I have to download it to computer and chek it out.
I agree with you that they are great frogs. Mine are very shy however. Yesterday was the first day I saw them in about a week. They love their bromeliads.

Nice, I'm lucky to see my vents at all. I know they are doing well, and one is also calling, but they are by far the most shy frogs I have. I plan to move them and my retics to 10gals that are heavily planted. Just need to get the tanks and get them growing.
